Areas of law
Social security law
In the Netherlands, social security law aims to provide income security and care to people in various life situations, such as old age, illness, disability, death and unemployment. This area of law includes the laws and regulations that regulate the rights and obligations of various parties, including employers, employees, unemployed, disabled, elderly and self-employed.
Social security law determines, among other things, the right to benefits and provisions for people who cannot work due to circumstances such as disability or illness. It ensures that people with insufficient or no income have access to support through various schemes and agencies, such as the UWV or the municipality.
The increasing complexity and volume of regulations can make it difficult for someone without a legal background to maintain an overview or defend themselves and protect themselves against wrongfully rejected applications or decisions.
However, we are well acquainted with these complex regulations and have extensive experience in this field. We can provide you with expert assistance to ensure that your rights are respected and your interests are protected.
