The aforementioned personal data are processed by Law Firm Tigris because they have been provided by you as a data subject on your own initiative, have been obtained in the context of the provision of services, have been made known to us by third parties, including counterparties, or have become known via public sources.

Basis for processing personal data

Tigris Law Firm processes the above-mentioned personal data solely on the basis of the grounds mentioned below as referred to in Article 6 of the GDPR:

  • consent obtained from data subject(s)

Sharing personal data with third parties

Law Firm Tigris shares your personal data with third parties only to the extent necessary for the provision of services in compliance with the aforementioned purposes. This may include observation of the practice by another lawyer, (having) an expert investigation carried out or engaging another third party on behalf of and by order of Law Firm Tigris, such as an IT supplier, but also providing your personal data in connection with (legal) proceedings or correspondence with the opposing party.

In addition, Tigris Law Firm may provide personal data to a third party, such as a supervisory authority or another body vested with public authority, to the extent that there is a legal obligation to do so.

A processing agreement is concluded with the third party that processes your personal data on behalf of and on the instructions of Law Firm Tigris, whereby that third party is also obliged to comply with the GDPR. Tigris Law Firm does not store personal data that is processed for longer than is necessary for the aforementioned purposes of data processing or as required by law and regulations.

A request for access, correction, limitation, objection, data portability, deletion of your personal data or withdrawal of previously given consent, can be sent via the contact details below. You will receive further notice from us within four weeks of receipt of your request.

Circumstances may arise in which Tigris Law Firm cannot or cannot fully comply with your request as a data subject. This may include the confidentiality obligation of lawyers and statutory retention periods.

In order to ensure that we provide the relevant personal data to the correct person based on your request, we ask you to submit a copy of a valid passport, driver’s license or identity card with a shielded passport photo and BSN number for verification purposes. Tigris Law Firm will only process requests that relate to your own personal data.
